Coaching is a collaborative and thought-provoking process that enables clients to build their capabilities so that they can achieve their personal and professional goals

Straw Hat Holistic Coaches use various techniques, tools, and frameworks to enable you to clarify what is important to you, identify obstacles, and develop action plans to achieve positive, sustainable change.

In short we look at where you are, and where you want to be and support you in bridging that gap. It provides both accountability, and a safe space to untangle your thoughts to provide clarity in moving forward.

The reconnection package is coaching blended with somatic modalities, neuroscience, occupational therapy exercises with a sprinkle of lived experience. As neurodivergent people we are often less in tune with our bodies and this can lead to difficulty releasing trapped trauma and increases nervous system dysregulation. This package aims to help you be more comfortable in the here and now, increased ability to ground yourself when in fight or flight, decrease looping thoughts, and make more informed choices though connection.

Purpose

Understand your life purpose at a deeper level, increasing motivation to make more of an impact in the world. Start making life and career decisions aligned with your values, to create a meaningful life which works for you.

Wellbeing

Look at your wellbeing holistically and under a neurodivergent lens. Learn to be kinder to yourself and understand your sensitivities. Create more balance in your life or career and become comfortable putting boundaries in place rather than forcing yourself to fit in a mould that isn’t yours.

Accountability

Stop procrastinating and start taking action. Get some momentum going to move you out of your head and into making positive action. We love to be a part of your wins and see your growth over the coaching period.

Clarity

Feel much clearer on what you want from your life, discover why you are feeling stuck and develop strategy on how you can move forward and find the peace or success you are searching for.

Beliefs

Develop your inner confidence and build the courage to make life changes. Challenge limiting beliefs, release any blocks or old repetitive thought patterns which have kept you stuck or held you back.

  • 100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist. We contract for times when confidentially may have to be broken, for example if there is a safeguarding concern.

  • Counselling, or psychotherapy, focuses on understanding, resolving and healing emotional trauma and pain carried through from the past. Coaching is focused on the present and future. Coaches help you to identify goals, leverage personal strengths and take action. Therefore, the focus is very different from counselling

  • We start with a free introductory call (or text, etc) to see if we’re a good fit and if we can help you with what you want to achieve. then we do 6 sessions on average spaced 3-4 weeks apart (we can go quicker or slower depending on your goals). Each session is an hour of coaching followed by fifteen minutes of reflection.

  • This can vary and we do operate a bursary scheme to enable access to people who may struggle with the costs. Contact us for a firmer idea of pricing. We will be starting a scheme that will offer limited heavily discounted appointments on Thursdays. These will be on a first come first served basis and there is no guarantee of having a regular slot.
